Took a long weekend and went to see my family in San Antonio. Back-to-back pleasant flights on United. Maybe the merger issues are in the past finally. Once back in San Francisco, I tried to get back into the swing of daily (more or less) recording. Feeling pretty good considering, a rough day or two along the way notwithstanding.
My temporary bachelor act continued the first part of the week. But Rich got back on Friday and everything started to feel normal again. We celebrated his return and Matt’s new job with some bubbly. Then took a day trip to Sonoma and saw a real redheaded woodpecker in nature. My first time. And as if the weekend couldn’t get any better, I got to go return hangers at Ikea. Yes, I do lead the glamorous life.
Have been a bit off recently so got a bit behind with the editing. Decided to just combine the past two weeks. I started off sick. Weird virus that made me tired and left behind migraine-like headaches. The Apple Watches arrived so you get my silly pronouncements. And Rich left for 10 days on the east coast. As you can see, I don’t do well alone.
Our Apple Watches came on Friday so I’ve been playing around with the digital touch features. An Apple Store employee showed us this trick to quickly tap an Apple Watch-wearing friend.
Well it was a week. No denying that. Cute shots of the cats, a couple of tasty Blue Apron meals, and driving the i3 on the streets of San Francisco. Other stuff too—checked out Apple Watch—but I’m tired so watch the video.
Had a couple of storms to start the week. Sang the praises (selfish) of daylight savings times. Took advantage of two different fast charge stations. Decided to just jump into the Apple Watch madness and ordered one each for Rich and myself. Hung out with my pal Marc who tried to convince me of the inherent goodness of the Cadillac CTS. Not giving anything away by saying I’m not convinced.
Had to send the i3 back to the dealer to fix the navigation system that the recent software update broke. They set me up with an X1 s-drive 28i loaner instead. Turns out not my favorite BMW product. Otherwise lots of food adventures, a Saturday jaunt to wine country and Marc appeared for Sunday Bloody Marys.
First week back after Spring Break. Started with a regularly scheduled dermatology appointment. Get naked and squirted with liquid nitrogen fun. Rich got an amazing birthday gift. The recent i3 software update went bad. Discovered what they say about using a filter to protect a camera lens pays off. Marc convinced a nice lesbian couple to get an i3. And lots of cute cat shots.
