Last week of Fall classes. Week before Christmas. My vendetta against Amazon. And cute cats. What more can you want?
Grey week. Big storms. Rain, etc. Rich and I celebrated our 27th anniversary. Hard to comprehend. Went up to Sonoma for wine pickup. First road trip in the i3 thanks to a couple of new DC fast chargers between here and there. Amazon Fire TV stick arrived. Which let to an anti-Comcast bitch. Managed to get some nice shots from Crissy field while I walked about 4 miles. And we managed to bookend the week with yet another rain storm. Fun.
Back to work week. Construction seemed to be at every turn. The jackhammer noise drove me out of my office. And something punctured an i3 tire. Not fun. Tried to make it up with cats and good food cooking. Happy Birthday Darren.
Went to get the 328i tire replaced but surprise! The battery died. And that set off computer errors so minor repair odyssey stretched over three days. Then Thanksgiving hit. Lots of good food and friends. Quick demo of the i3’s semi-autonomous highway mode. And finally we hit the Academy of Sciences and the Keith Haring show at the de Young.
Week before the national day of gluttony. I hate that the end of the year is rolling up so fast. Rainy season seems to have officially begun. Cooked a couple of new meals. Lots of cute cat footage also.
Monday brought gloom and cold. Well cold for coastal California. Of course it’s my cue to head to the water. Sorry for the wind noise at Crissy Field. Met up with my pal Joe for Friday morning waffles. Made three more great Blue Apron meals. Bitched about self checkouts. And cute cats. Plenty of cute cats.
Not sure what was in the air on Monday but it wasn’t pleasant. Don’t think I let it get to me too much though. Busy days turned the week into a blur. Punctuated with the cats being extra cute. Or something. Got our second Blue Apron box. Three more great meals. Really loving this service.
Got our first Blue Apron box. All three meals proved quite tasty. Strongly recommend. November arrives and I commemorate the occasion by washing the i3 while wearing short sleeves. The SF time-shifted summer just won’t quit.
Gorgeous weather. Whirlwind of activities during the days. Cute cats. Really starting to see the shorter daylight hours. Frustration over not finding public charging. Don’t buy an electric car! And adventures with the guys over the weekend.
We’re not going to discuss how chocolate got on the i3 seat. Suffice to say it did. Proved to be a persistent little stain, too. Cute cats. Coffee with my pal Joe and his nerd credentials. Great view driving over Nob Hill. And a dull weekend of married bliss. See you next week.
