What Weekend?

Started the week at a deficit because I had to go into school last Saturday. Prepped for our trip up the coast. While we’re away, I’m having the dealer update the i3’s software. It should be ready to go again when we’re back.

Try Again

Water issues this week. First we had no hot water Monday. Then the grocery store flooded our garage with raw sewage. Pretty! But watching the new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race made me forget to be too cranky. Then we ventured east to Sunday brunch with friends, and see Jessie and Justin’s new place.

Gorgeous

Our perpetually Spring weather proved especially lovely this week. I raved about the i3 and ranted about the Apple TV. If anyone is listening, don’t buy one. Met Gideon for coffee and included too many cute shots of the cats.

Not Holiday

Seems like most everyone had President’s Day as a holiday. But not me. Meetings and presentations. Then the new espresso machine arrived. Hung out with Miguel. Cooked a bunch. Captured cute footage of the cats. You know, normal stuff.

We’re Late

False fire alarm and SF’s ongoing construction both manage to annoy me. But Jay Bell’s “Something Like” series managed to keep me entertained. If a gay romance has any appeal, you really need to check it out.

New Hair

New haircut, lunch with Justin, and the girls’ routine vaccinations pass for excitement this first week of February. And of course I make food then get some cute shots of the cats.

Feeling Up

Kind of a schizoid week. Class startup kept me busy so I didn’t take the time to shoot much during the week. Completely skipped Monday and Thursday. Oh well. Got the espresso machine shipped off. Making due with the small one. But the weekend was good. Not one but two brunches. Roamed around the city then felt superior about an Aston Martn’s tacky carbon fiber trim, before moving on to taunt a Marin mall. If nothing else, we managed to amuse ourselves. Maybe you too?

Lost Day

I know Monday happened but I have no video proof for you, kind viewer. Just as I recovered from the shock, a major crisis erupted. My beloved super-automatic expresso machine stopped responding to its buttons. Oy. Have to send it out for repairs. Then we wrapped up the week with a walk along Ocean Beach. Too bad I fell and twisted an angle seconds after getting out of the car. Pain. Swelling. And too bad I can’t send my ankle off someplace for a quick repair.

Dull Headache

The week started with various maladies popping up but none went anywhere. Still enjoyed a comfortable night in with my husband. Maybe that’s dull. I don’t care. Had a fire alarm go off. No real fire though. Had to figure out how fix our bathtub drain. Also learned why turnips have purple tops. Saturday trip to Sonoma. Found the original Williams Sonoma store. They’ve done a nice job of restoring the building. And closed the week by watching fog obliterate the Golden Gate Bridge.

Normal

Back to work, back to normal. Or a facsimile. That means me talking to the camera and the cats being cute. I rant about the uncontrolled construction here in SF, suffer through a couple of intense allergy attacks, and wind up the week worried I might be getting sick. Bah.
