I’ve decided to go with the once a week recap this year. Seems to work well with my schedule. I’ll record bits throughout the week then edit and upload Sunday night/Monday morning. Got an incredibly stupidly targeted telemarketing call. Bitched about an encounter with a typically asleep at the wheel Prius driver. Yelled at BofA. Had noodles, coffee and a satisfying afternoon of conversation with Jessie. Ruminated on SF Victorian tract houses. And caught Zero Dark Thirty with Rich, Jessie and Justin. Wow, the naive might be hoodwinked into thinking I have a life.
Back with the first week recap of 2013. I think I can manage at least once a week. Wasted a lot of time off. Rain and cold provide good justification for sluggishness. Took the girls for their annual check-ups. Got the BMW serviced. Gawked at crap and bought more towels at an evil big box store. And pianos on porches. Fun.
I’ve had the Lytro camera for 8 or so months but haven’t used it for much more than a few, bad snapshots. So I think it makes sense to try a 365 with it. One shot a day for a year. Hopefully I’ll manage to produce some interesting images. Or I’ll just subject you to hundreds of bad snapshots.
Still life on the dining table. Carnival filter makes for interesting effects when you refocus or play with the perspective shift.
