Yes, took an extra week to edit this one. Maybe you won’t hold it against me once you’ve seen events unfold. It’s been an emotional few days.
It’s that time of the year when SF is wrapped in a thick layer of fog. We haven’t seen the sun at our house in a couple of weeks. It’s starting to get to me. So you get lots of cat shots. Guess that how I fend off the depression. Friends, too. Darren and Zach. Matt and Miguel. Pie and pie.
A full week late with this one. Can’t explain why I avoided editing it. Lots going on I suppose. Anyway, this week was cute cats. Lots of gray foggy skies. Fucking cold. Shouldn’t complain though. The cold summer is a big reason we live in SF. Cooked a hearty meal for the boys on Friday night. Then we escaped the chill Saturday with a trip to Sonoma, great meal and nice bubbly in a vineyard. Matt and Rich took over camera duties to capture goofy tourists and a fog cloak during trips across the Golden Gate Bridge.
The countdown has begun. We leave for Europe—Copenhagen, Hamburg and Berlin—in a month. Getting excited. Busy week in the present though. Had dinner with visiting friends Greg and Vicki. Saturday, had tickets a special drag event, Peaches Christ’s The Craft at the Castro Theater with Honey Mahogany, Alaska Thunderfuck and Sharon Needles. Managed to capture some good bits if you’re a Drag Race fan.
Thought I’d lost my wedding ring. Opps. But it was just in the dryer. Sydney was a bad kitty. I took July 4 off. Felt great. Biked around Crystal Spring reservoir. Found spiral stairs on Eureka St. Excitement had by all.
Huge week. Halfway through 2013. Rain in June. DOMA ruled unconstitutional. Prop 8 voided. Pride. Definitely will remember this one for a long, long time.
Grocery store carts and fences. Cute cats and Old Spice scratch ‘n sniff. Power washing and no electricity. Super moon and Golden Gate Bridge. Fun week.
Rain in June. Lightening. Thunder. Weird for San Francisco. A swanky party. I rant about the press reaction to the NSA silliness. And a hike along above the ocean in the fog.
Traffic that is. Actually turned out to be a busy week at work. Then we had another multi-course dessert tasting event at Tout Sweet. And the weekend happened. Good stuffs.
