Let’s Do This Again

So it was a week. Biggest excitement was the espresso machine freaking out less than a week it came back from the shop. And cats. Very cute cats if I do say so myself. And I do.
Busy week. Rich went back to work. Cute cats. A minor traffic accident. Yay for getting hit when standing still. And visitors.
Lost track of the week number. Oh well. Doctor appointment fun. Naked and liquid nitrogen. Rich got approval to return to work. Yay for normal. Cute boy and a dog. And iPhone 5s video tests.
Took the DeLonghi super-automatic espresso machine for service. The 20+ year old little Krups prevents mass homicide in the meantime. Also X, Blondie, iPhone 5s, 5C and cute boys.
Fog and blah. Bitched about SF meters, exposed a city employee on the phone while driving and yelled at a woman pushing a stroller on a parking garage ramp. What is wrong with people?
Labor Day week and the start of the fall semester. Matt and Miguel came along as we explored two sculptures in the Presidio–Wood Line and Spire by artist Andy Goldsworthy. Odd to think that both have been there for a couple of years but we’ve ignored them in our day-to-day rush. Then the shortened week started and I drove around a lot. Saturday we went across the new Bay Bridge for lunch at a friend’s in San Leandro. Plus lots of cute cat shots for Shari.
Before we start this week’s video, a bit of leftovers from the previous Sunday. Not sure how I missed that raw footage. Major milestone this week—finally got the right hospital records that convinced the airline Rich was too ill to travel and qualified for a refund. Very big deal. Also, prattle on about why gays who live together need to get the paper that says you’re married. And cute cats, too.
I go back to work for a few hours each day this week. Rich is feeling well enough to get impatient with the speed of his recovery. Cute cats. Cute dog. Me complaining. In other words, we’re getting back in the groove.
A week away from the work. Not really off though. Got a new bed for the girls. Rich isn’t wearing pants but continues to make progress. Have started daily, gentle walks. Found weird stuff on the street.Hung out with friends Shannon, Matt, Miguel, Jessie, Justin and Byron.
Europe trip officially cancelled. Sadness. Saw a hematologist. Fell in love with a cute boy named Morrie. Tried to be normal. Partly succeeded.
