Christmas Week. It was just the two of us plus the cats again this year. Because we refuse to travel at this time of the year. So a quiet, relaxed holiday. Just the way we like it.
Final week of the Fall semester. Guess it’s time to get started with holiday stuffs. And fight a cold. Bleh. Dinners with Matt & Miguel, and Jessie & Justin. Plus surprise, same-day delivery from Amazon.
Big week. Our anniversary. 26 years. Hard to comprehend. Semester wrap up and commencement. Then a mini crisis involving a cut finger and my OCD husband.
Oddly cold week for California but great for food. Our pals Jessie and Justin got married. Invited us to a small celebration at Flour + Water on Monday. Lovely. Lots of cats during the week. Then we got takeout from Ragazza. Yum. Rich wanted the tree up. Lights were trouble so we sprang for a new, pre-lit one. Even though I’ve been grumpy, I’ve got to admit he did a great job.
It’s Thanksgiving week. Shari came up from LA. The guys came over. And we had way too much food. Rich regaled all with some amusing stories, including his plan to become a big drunk in 2014.
Almost a full week behind on my edits and uploads. Opps. Lots of cute cat shots, me bitching and Thanksgiving prep.
Is it a holiday if you have to work? Not in my book. In other news, we got the 3-series back. Feels so good after too many days with the Chevy refrigerator. And picked up wine from my friend Kent in Santa Rosa.
Started the week with the flight from San Antonio back to SF. I definitely needed the club booze to deal with the delay and crowd. And Rich saved me from BART for the trip home. I kind of like him, if you can’t tell. Coffee and cats came up a lot also.
Took the BMW in for the bumper repair. Got an exciting Chevy Cruze in refrigerator white as a rental. Actually, not as horrible as it sounds. Then I found a United weekend special to San Antonio. Great timing since my mom’s birthday was this week.
Seems like the time of year when routine becomes firmly ensconced. But then that’s one reason to have cats. And, boy, do we have lots of cute shots. Work, home and gay stuff, too.
