Record heat spell to start the week. Spent the birthday at a BMW i event with Jessie and Khoi. Did another i3 test drive then got to touch an i8. The big question becomes do I actually follow through on my threat to buy in an i3?
Week begins with me still alone. But Rich returns soon enough. I rant about the SF DPT hypocrisy and Apple TV not working well anymore. Plenty of happy, too. Weekend hike with the guys. Pie brunch. And even more food. Plus cute cats.
Rich headed off to the east coast leaving me on cat duty. Sad truth is I suck at being single. Learned that the i3 I have on order arrived in the US. Trying to find charging solutions. Not easy. Miguel and I got stuck in the Mission thanks to May day silliness. And I talked to the cats a lot. Did I mention I hate being single?
The friends showed up this week. Met Jesse for coffee. Got a surprise call from Brittany who cruised into town for one night. Then we headed to LA for the weekend and got to see lots of Shari.
Started Monday with no sleep. Literally. I think I overdid it with codeine cough syrup. Busy if a bit dull week at school. But we head up to Healdsburg Saturday. Had a great meal and found this great cafe combo garden shop.
Weather-wise turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous week. Typical busy school stuffs. Talked about Tivo going haywire and the Colbert appointment. The weekend involved an expedition to Sonoma and lunch with M+M. Plus the obligatory cute cats.
Sort of get it done. In the end, more let’s have lots of conversations about maybe doing stuff. Meaning meetings with electrical contractors about how we might install an EV charger. So complicated. Starting to question whether it’s worth the bother. And lots of cute cats.
Exciting week? Let’s see. Saw my first drone. Hovering above a construction crew repaving Pine Street. Documenting the concrete pour for the city maybe? A couple of storms blew in. Had meals with pals Sean and Jason. Needy cats caused mischief.
Spring Break week. Not that we went anywhere. But I did get to leave early most days. St. Patrick’s Day kicked off the week and I rant a bit about the homophobia around the parades. Got thwarted in our attempt to try the new brew pub across the street. And lots of cute cats.
Rich’s birthday week. The actual day was Monday but we waited until Saturday to have a celebration with friends. Also had some developments on the BMW i3 front. Optimistic but not ready to be excited yet. And Rich has a very Richie story about an encounter in the Whole Foods garage. Cute cats as always.
