Nice quality time with the kittens. Gift commemorating the i3 acquisition arrived from BMW. Booked a quick trip to New York, New York. And other fun, fascinating happenings this week.
Cold, grey July. Just a typical San Francisco summer. Still I managed to amuse myself with cats, the i3 and assorted entertainment. Was on Puck duty since M+M went to Vegas. Saw New Order live. Bad. And finally watched Blue Jasmine. Good.
Actually turned out to be a great week. We committed to a Europe trip next month. Brussels, London and northern France. Should be fun. Other than that it was the usual cute cats, driving the i3 and food with friends. All good.
Seemed like I had a lot going on this week but I kind of forgot to shoot much at the start. Finally got sick enough of the PS3 to replace it. Really should throw the thing out a window. Then had some weekend adventures and headed to Half Moon Bay for a work thing. Tough duty.
Official start of summer classes. I don’t feel ready, not that it matters. But I’d just as soon dwell on the new i3. Surprise. The girls had fun watching birds in the trees right outside our window. And I got a neat-o-keen BMW i accessory.
Last week before the summer semester begins. Yes, I’m still obsessed with the i3. And the cute cats. And my husband. In other words, the usual.
Had jury duty to start the week. Not too painful. Manage to answer the questions so they’d toss me out of consideration. Lots of i3 talk. Hope you’re not bored by my obsessiveness. And I made a new friend at work. Spenser is all of 12 weeks old. Couldn’t be cute.
Starting the week on Tuesday always throws things off. Not having the routine of classes doesn’t help. So I filled the space with extra attention on the new BMW i3. Finally got Rich to drive it. Met up with friends. And caught the cats oozing cute.
Turns out the boil water alert didn’t disrupt things too much. It went away by lunch on Saturday. Mostly the trip was about eating. I know. What a surprise. We also took a detour to Mt. St. Helens on Sunday. Then back to SF on Memorial Day itself.
Busy week wrapping up the semester. Big show of student work. Commencement. Then we head off to Portland for the Memorial Day weekend. Only to find a twist when we land.
