I’m going to blame the recent dearth of entries on the PowerBook’s hard drive giving up the ghost. Getting it fixed has taken longer than anticipated mainly because of a mix up with shipping containers. I won’t bore you with the details. Happily, DHL reports that the repaired laptop is winging its way back to my eager hands. I certainly am ready to move on.

Not that any of this is really relevant. I just need some sort of activity to distract me from the monotonous drone of the Golden Gate Bridge’s fog horn.
