I got a nifty all-in-one printer/scanner/copier recently. The HP Photosmart 3210. Very pleased with the quality and speed. Versatile device that I highly recommend. Of course the ink replacements are pricey. $67.70 if you buy all six cartridges individually. But today I learned that HP also packages the six cartridges along with 150 sheets of photo paper in a bundle for about $36.

How does that make sense?

    I bet the bundled cartridges have less ink in them. There’s a toner cartridge “bundle” for our new HP laser at work, but the capacity of each cartridge is only 2500 pages, vs 6000 pages on the single carts.
