Yes kids, this offbeat masterpiece really was on regular rotation in the early 80s. I hate to sound like an old fart but music did seem more adventurous and fun then. Don’t try to make sense of it. Just enjoy.

This song is played semi-regularly on XM’s Kids Place Live. The very youngest generation is, apparently, growing up to this “adventurous and fun” music as a norm. I, on the other hand, had no idea this was a song from the 80’s! Thanks!
