A North Carolina couple has begun agitating for airlines to restrict showing violent, adult-themed films on the overhead screens. That's prompted some opportunistic members of congress to introduce a bill requiring so-called Family Friendly flights. My first reaction was oh-my-god-you've-got-to-be-kidding-me. Then I started thinking about it and maybe it's not such a bad idea. I'd personally love it if all those annoying children on flights were rounded up and required to sit in one section--preferably way, way back. Now if only there were some way to force the smelly fat guys who usually spill over into my seat back there, too.
